What are trees used for?

The usual wood products and byproducts made from wood are obvious and easy to list:  lumber, plywood, oriented strandboard.  When we think of wood byproducts, charcoal, bark dust, wood pellets, paper, cardboard boxes, tissues and paper towels come to mind.

We thought it might be fun to list some that seem far removed from those we already know, and some we don't always think of.
